How we collect, use, store and protect personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We don't collect payment details, ID documents, date of birth or any special-category data, and we'll never ask for a password, card number, or a copy of ID. If a site claiming to be us asks for any of that, it isn't us - tell us at corrections@ukgamblereview.example.
3. What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent or trade personal data
- We don't build advertising profiles or run retargeting pixels
- We don't pass your contact details to any operator
- We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 - tell us if you think we have, and we'll delete it
4. Analytics and consent
Optional analytics only load once you pick "Accept all" on the cookie banner. Pick "Reject non-essential" instead and no analytics load at all - the site behaves identically either way. That data is aggregated and never used to identify anyone individually. Change your mind any time from the Cookie Policy page.
5. Affiliate links
Click a link to an operator, and that operator (and its tracking provider) may set their own cookies and learn the click came from us. From that point their privacy policy governs, not ours. We only ever see aggregated, non-identifying numbers back - never who registered or what anyone deposited.
6. Processors we use
- A hosting provider, storing server logs in the UK or EEA
- An email provider, delivering and storing contact-form messages
- An analytics provider, only if you've consented to optional cookies
Each is bound by a written agreement requiring the same level of protection we apply ourselves.
7. Security
The site runs over HTTPS with standard security headers. Access to contact-form messages is limited to the editorial team. No transmission over the internet is ever fully secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can:
- be told how your data is used (this policy covers that)
- ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
- have inaccurate data corrected
- ask us to erase data we no longer need
- object to or restrict processing based on legitimate interests
- ask for a portable copy of data you gave us
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything already processed

9. Complaints
Unhappy with how we've handled your data? We'd rather sort it out directly first, but you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
10. Changes
We'll update this policy whenever what we do with data changes, and revise the date at the top. Anything material will also be flagged on the homepage for 30 days.
